Link building is one of the most important factors in Search Engine Optimization (SEO). As this is a time consuming, never ending process one should always remember that a single quality, relevant and high PR link can be worth a hundred or more lower quality web links.

Always look for a higher page rank than your own and avoid zero ranking pages where possible.
The web page that is linking to your site should not contain more than 100 outbound links and ideally less than 30 to help boost it’s SEO value.
The web page should you link to your site with a rel=”nofollow” attribute in its link structure, this will ensure the link carries an SEO value and can be followed by search engine spiders.
