Boost for SEO and PPC Marketing as Global Searches Rise 46 Percent
Recent reports have shown large growth in the past 12 months with global online searches up 46 percent from December 2008 to the same period in 2009. With online searching figures rising so fast, a lift is sure to be provided to both SEO (search Engine Optimization) and PPC (Pay Per Click) marketing companies as global businesses aim to get their website profile raised.
The report showed in December 2009 a total of 131 billion global searches were made by users over the age of 15, both from the home and workplace with Google remaining the clear and dominant force, picking up and dealing with almost 88 billion of those queries (a 67% market share).
These figures suggest that there is rapidly growing number of consumers using the internet to track down the best deals for products, and organic SEO and PPC marketing companies are likely to be called upon to help online businesses maximize their sales as the online growth pattern continues.
