This recent video release by Matt Cutts (Googles own SEO expert and head of webspam) covers his thoughts on whether or not SEO will still exist in 5 years time. This issue is being covered now in response to the imminent release of the new “Google Instant” search engine. Google Instant promises to deliver much faster searching for users, and is based on a substantial change to Google’s current search engine algorithm and the method used by searchers themselves to track down information on the web (which accounts for the biggest delay).
